Association Operating procedure for Covid cases

  • We will announce that there is a covid positive case in the building to the resident WhatsApp group. 

We will assess the situation and provide more details asap, so request all residents to avoid calling/messaging for details. 

  • Details of Covid patient will be provided to all employees so that they can take precautions and also sanitize required areas. 
  • In case the association suspects that the covid patient or his/her family used the common area and interacted with other residents within the past 2 weeks then we will announce the personal details such as name and flat of the covid patient, otherwise, we will announce the floor number to the residents. ( Through WhatsApp group and notice board )
  • If the resident has no serious health issues then he/she has to go in-home quarantine.
    • 7 days quarantine and after that they can end qurantine if RTPCR test is negative.
  • If the person shows symptoms or tests positive after the quarantine, then he/she has to repeat the procedure. 
  • Family members in the same flat are considered primary contact and have to remain in quarantine till the quarantine for the patient ends. If any one of the family members shows any covid symptoms, then that person should undergo the covid test. 
  • Association will provide support for door delivering their requirements.
  • Association will not collect waste from the flat while the resident is in quarantine. They have to dispose the biodegradable waste within the apartment and burn other waste at the rooftop incinerator after quarantine.
  • There are two options for the covid test.
    • They can use the mobile testing unit from DDC by contacting them at +91 94963 25300 
    • Go outside and do the test. 

Association recommends RT-PCR test from DDC mobile unit. 

  • In case Covid patient needs to go outside for the covid test, then they need to inform the time when they want to use the common area such as Fire Lift or Fire exit so that we can inform residents and employees and make arrangements for sanitization. 
  • In case if the test done turns positive then they have to repeat the quarantine procedures.
